RADIOLOGY

Radiology is a medical specialty that uses medical imaging to diagnose and treat diseases in people’s bodies. Various imaging techniques such as X-ray radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET), and nuclear medicine and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are used to diagnose or treat diseases. Interventional radiology is usually the application of minimally invasive medical procedures under the guidance of imaging technologies such as those mentioned above.
